2016 vb.net directx9 shaders

Lens Flare Simulator 2K16 was the result of my attempt to make a networked infinite procedural space simulation.

Believe it or not, it was written in VB.NET using the SharpDX library to interop with Direct3D 9. Suffice to say that I didn’t really live up to my lofty ambitions, but I learned a ton about HLSL shaders and killed some downtime in my high school CS class! And then, Hello Games stole my idea about a year later…

Unfortunately I can’t find the source code anywhere so I can’t take any more screenshots.
